Salary: $85-88K – this is a liveable wage, but they are asking for 10-15 years experience in two expensive cities, so I’d expect more like $120K to be competitive. That said, we know that racial justice organizations are underfunded, so this is probably a symptom of that.

True story: when I was a kid I dreamed about being a Shakespearean actor and living in…Ashland, Oregon. It didn’t come to pass, obviously, but this job listing stirred my hopes again.
