Program Officer, Program on Sexual Violence in Conflict Zones at Physicians for Human Rights (Boston)

PHR is seeking an experienced and qualified program officer to work with the Program on Sexual Violence in Conflict Zones (SVCZ) to help increase local capacity for the collection of court-admissible evidence of sexual violence to support prosecutions for these crimes. The program officer coordinates the Program’s day-to-day activities in the United States and in focus countries, participates in the planning and development of programmatic activities in these locations, and cultivates and maintains strong relationships globally to advance the goals of the SVCZ ProgramThe program officer’s responsibilities include effective deployment of resources, time, and funds for PHR projects. These projects involve complex coordination, and require effective communication and creative and collaborative problem-solving. Building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships internally and with external partners across cultures and geographies is an important function of this role. This is an exempt position which reports to the Director, Program on Sexual Violence in Conflict Zones.Location: Boston, Massachusetts
